Dad, Thank you for trusting me enough to take the reins and help mom care for you from start to finish. I am forever grateful to have done that for you. You were such an Amazing Dad. I have so many wonderful memories to carry with me everyday and although your Physical body is gone, I know you are still very much here with us in spirit and always will be. I know you will watch over mom and all of us and help lead the way when we aren’t really sure which way that is. I was with you as you left us and watched eternal peace come and I know you are safe and at peace with where you are. I knew you were tired but I also knew you saw where you were going. God Blessed us by taking you so peacefully, For that I have an overwhelming peace that covers me and calms my heart since that day.
Thank you for your love, for your humor,
For your patience , your kindness and for all of your support through the years, for being a stellar grandfather to Lilly and Brett and for loving them endlessly! Thank you for at times in my life being my voice. Without you I wouldn’t be who I am today. I will certainly miss being beside you to help pick the songs but I promise the music won’t stop!
I miss you and Love you so much.

Pop Pop,
Thank you for living for so long to tell your story. You were the strongest person I’ve ever met, and you taught me to live with a resilient and strong heart, no matter what happens in life. I will live resiliently for you.

Thank you for being my biggest fan; my biggest supporter. You were always in the crowd, watching me dance at every recital and every competition. You made me feel important, like a star. Like I was the only dancer that mattered. I will dance for you.

Thank you for the laughs. Your comedic timing and laugh is unforgettable. I will miss fighting over chocolate chip cookies and giving each other “snake eye.” You would do anything to make us laugh. I will laugh for you. I will joke for you.

Thank you for believing in me when it felt like no one else did. You shaped me into the person I am today. You pushed me when I felt like giving up. I will push myself for you.

Thank you for loving us all unconditionally. While you were a bit quiet in sentimental times, you still made your love evident. Thank you for always loving Gran so passionately; your relationship is something that I will always, always admire.

Thank you for touching so many lives. You loved to make others smile with your DJ speaker set and thousands of songs. Everyone that you met, you made a positive impression on. Everyone loved you. Everyone loves you.

Though you may not be on this Earth anymore, I know you will now be with me everywhere I go. You will be watching over me. You will still get to see me dance. You will still get to see me graduate college, something I know you would have loved to see in person. You will probably still play pranks on me and try to make me laugh in your own special way.

“See you in the funnies,” Pop Pop. I love you.
